REASON AND PROCESS
Avalon’s Arcana was created as a multi-use deck for standard card games, tarot card games, fortune telling, and meditation. The purpose is to bridge the gap between current mysticism and their original origin of a card game. The mobile app creation goal was to assist in the usage of the tarot deck Avalon’s Arcana. By providing insight and instruction on different aspects of the tarot deck.
STANDARD CARD GAMES
A tarot deck has the ability to play all 52 card games. The app would have a list of different popular 52 card games and how to play them.
TAROT CARD GAMES
The original origin of tarot cards was playing games. The app would provide the different popular tarot card games and original Avalon's Arcana games.
MEDITATOIN
Avalon's Arcana is geared towards meditation prompts and the app allows a guided meditation.
READINGS
When thinking of tarot cards one often thinks of mysticism readings. The app will provide tarot spreadlayouts, meanings and how to preform readings.
MAJOR MEDTATION
Within this portion of the app each of the 22 major arcana 0 - 21 have the ability to listen to a guided mediation based on the meaning of the card. The Fool, the meditation audio displayed below, is an air card with the meaning of potential. The guided meditation background sound for air is wind blowing through wheat fields with birds singing.
MINOR MEDITATION
Often overlooked in a tarot reading, the 60 cards called minor arcana in Avalon's Arcana deck are used for meditation. Most of the cards hold a simpler view than the major arcana and can be a good introduction to using's a card for a prompted meditation.
